What are the Benefits of being a massage employee

by Carol
(Boston, Ma)

What kind of benefits can I expect as a Massage Therapist? Would it be worth being self-employed if there are no benefits (health insurance, life insurance, retirement, etc....)

Whatever benefits you ask for and demand.

When you set up your own business you become the provider of those benefits for yourself. You can choose what you want for yourself.

No one can tell you if it is worth it to you. Only you can decide or know that for yourself? Is it worth it to pay for your own health insurance, put money aside in a self employed IRA or buy your own life insurance?

You can make as much or as little as you want in this business. It is really totally up to you.
