depends on your choice of eniroment by: Hans Albert Quistorff LMP
I will describe a few different type of days i have observed. Chiropractor employee: I5 or 30 minute sessions scheduled during adjusting hours with possible longer sessions during off hours. possible alternative if you do more than massage as I did. see www.male-massage-therapist.com I did re-exams and x-ray in between massage sessions.
Mobile Massage by referral: After 13 years my reputation has spread to the extent that I have all the work I can handle in my semi-retirement just by clients telling friends that are having problems "You have to see Hans."
Monday: morning accounting and household chores; afternoon, Couple second town north that pay in advance each month and have their own table set up in spare room. possibly one or two other clients that live in between that have requested appointment.
Tuesday: morning, devoted to ministry; afternoon, MS client who's daughter has just completed massage school and that I mentored last quarter but needs advanced muscle reeducation techniques. Vibration therapist that is recovering from facial and dental surgery, alternate weeks use her table to work on mutual client or go to client that is on alternate week maintenance for motor vehicle losses.
Wednesday: To chiropractors office second town east to care for clients in that area. Dr.'s MT has that day off so I get use of therapy room which has two tables and massage chair and light therapy, in exchange for doing X-ray measurements for which I also get paid $15/hr. I occasionally have clients from 30 miles north of there come down. I also mentor another new therapist there.
Thursday: Morning exchange with local therapist that I am mentoring, afternoon family that has house building company and occasional subcontractors of theirs.
Friday: 2 or 3 families town west of here. Saturday: morning ministry afternoon by special appointment but I really need more time on the farm so that I have a place for conducting retreat massage therapy & education.
Sunday: morning congregation meetings, afternoon Bible study and client sessions by special appointment.
When I get too tired I lay here in my waterbed and answer questions like this.
