Massage laws are out of control!

Be prepared if you move to Arizona. Unless you graduated from a college in Arizona you are required to take the national exam, A long process which requires a fingerprint card. Then apply for your AZ license and get another fingerprint card along with two more months of waiting time. Never mind if you already have a current AZ card, they will not accept it. You will be looking at about five months before you can go to work. Be sure and check out the fee's involved. Your total will be high. Now I am stuck in Arizona working a low paying job, cannot afford to move or get my license because I was misinformed about national testing laws. Learn from my mistake and do not make a phone call, go to the official website for AZ massage law and read carefully.

Seven years experience over 800 hours of education and unemployed.

The laws can change overnight in any state and these laws can catch and break a therapist just as quickly.
