massage liability insurance

Hi Julie

I read your article and must say its complete.
Thanks so much for the info you have available
I wanted to ask u about insurance. I live in Miami,
and I am getting ready to sign up and become a massage
therapist. I went online to check the different positions that are available and found some that
requested insurance.
Can you tell me how much it cost.

thanks
ana

You can get liability insurance really cheaply through any massage professional association or through places like Hands on Trade Protection
http://www.handsontrade.com/

Some states require that you have certain liability limits and if you work with insurance companies some will also require that you have more than the standard amount but it doesn't cost that much.

It is usually anywhere from $129 -$300 a year.
