Fl massage licensing

You will need to take the Fl. State exam to get your State Massage Therapists license. Then, if you open an office, you have to get an Establishment license. We are the only Licensed Health Care Profession that is required to get an establishment license. Their excuse is that it will cut down on prostitution. Boy, talk about acceptance!

Then you will need and Occupational Business Tax permit from each county and City that you do business in. For example, if you have an office in one city and work in a clinic part-time in another and do outcalls to 2
others, you will need a separate license for each one. That's a grand total of 8 licenses.
