De Anza Junior College in Cupertino, CA is awesome. Not only is the instruction top notch, but the fees are very low when compared to other schools such as The McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto. For only $17 per unit, you can get 876 hours of training for less than $500.
Don't less this fool you though in terms of money value.
They have an on campus massage clinic where students practice as well as work on students, teachers, athletes, and the general public. Also, you can do as many internships as you like working with Stanford athletes. Not only is this valuable in terms of experience, but it puts you (well, me and other students at De Anza)ahead of the game in terms of promoting your skills and perhaps your future business. You can definitely make inroads into a successful career by going to De Anza. On their site, they even have a link for employers looking for beginning therapists. Sure, money will be low in the beginning but that's always the case with entry level positions. I believe that this school is the only one in the bay area that can help a massage therapy student become a very successful massage therapist.
