Core Institute, School of Massage and Bodywork, FL
Built on the tradition of Ida Rolf and the SOMA Institute, CORE Institute’s 10-session Structural Integration program focuses on precision of technique and depth of knowledge (50% more material covered than peers) – to ensure that CORE SI grads are at the top in their field, and reaping the rewards.
CORE Advanced Structural Integration is a 10-session, system-wide process of deep bodywork. It is designed to improve the STRUCTURAL and FUNCTIONAL abilities of the human body in its relationship to the gravitational field. CORE Structural Integration also utilizes clinical techniques and educational strategies that are client-friendly. The power of this system comes from honoring the client’s ability to increase their neuro-somatic awareness. You will learn (and the client will learn) how to use communication and somatic awareness to match your touch to their sensory nervous system and somato-type.
CORE Structural Integration constitutes a 10-session system of progressively deeper myofascial treatments that structurally improves all fascial layers and extrinsic and intrinsic musculature. The 10 sessions focus on establishing an integrated structure, balancing the intrinsic spiral in the body, releasing chronic myofascial tension, improving movement patterns, and increasing self-reliance through heightened neurosomatic awareness. Each of the 10 sessions focuses on a specific region of the body, progressively working into deeper and more specific layers of the myofascial network.
George Kousaleos, founder and director of the CORE Institute. George has been an international leader in the fields of structural integration, myofascial therapy and sports bodywork for 30 years.
