Am I strong enough

by Chris
(Columbus, OH)

I have heard people say I shouldn't do massage because my hands are small and weak. I have heard others say that having small and weak hands shouldn't matter if you do the massage techniques correctly. Who do I believe?

hand strength and size matter little for massage professionals
by: Anonymous

The size and strength of your hands really has little to do with how successful you would be as a massage therapist. There are many different types of massage and each person finds and does what is best for them.

You really have to do what is best for you and not listen to what others say - even me.

Your hands will also be strengthened from doing the massage and you will get regular massage to keep from getting repetitive strain injuries.
